Mekong Delta day tour – Cai Rang floating market

Mr. Ninh arranged a wonderful trip for us from Saigon to the Cai Rang floating market. I tried to arrange a day trip to Cai Rang with other more reviewed Mekong delta tour groups with no luck. They would only go to Cai Be in one day, which is not the same as Cai Rang. If your so lucky to be in the Mekong Delta, then my feeling was we need to see the real floating market. Mr. Ninh was very easy to communicate via email and came to our hotel the day before to collect our payment. ..

The temples are dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva, known under various local names, the most important of which is “Bhadresvara“. Established in the 15th century, it reached its peak in the 18th century, during which time village craftsmen contributed their skills in woodworking to many different projects, including the Imperial capital in Hue. Using their shipbuilding skills, they supplied ships and ghe bầu (large boats used for sailing) for the activities of the busy commercial port of Hoi An.

Thanh Ha pottery village is formed by the end of the century 15 and developed along with the port of Hoi An . The product is made from Thanh Ha ceramic materials are clay by hand by skilled artisans and traditional techniques of village. You are allowed to try your hand making pottery. You can also see the museum, with lots of Terra cottar models of famous world sites like the Washington Monument, the Pyramids, and the Sydney Opera…

Hoi An is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. It was an important Vietnamese trading centre in the 16th and 17th centuries, where Chinese from various provinces as well as Japanese, Dutch and Indians settled. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.
